DISPATCH OPERATOR (W108)

Duties:

• Welding weights for sash windows
• Constructing pallets for outgoing items
• Assisting in fitting ironmongery to finished items as required
• Wrapping and packing of all finished items on the pallet ensuring adequate protection for transportation
• Ensuring all required items are packed as per packing documentation
• Completion of packing documentation
• Working in accordance with priorities set out in workshop schedule
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment with good standard of housekeeping

Requirements: 

• Experience in a workshop environment
• Valid forklift truck licence would be advantageous
• Ability to work to a high standard of accuracy and detail
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Working as part of a team and on your own initiative
• Physically fit to lift fully finished windows, doors and frames
• Flexibility and willingness to train in other areas if required
