SANDING & PREP TECHNICIAN (W106)

Duties:

• Sanding and preparing of all assembled windows, doors and frames for spray painting
• Verifying size, dimensions and quantities of all incoming items from the joinery workshop as per job file
• Quality control of incoming items from the joinery workshop
• Working in accordance with priorities set out in workshop schedule
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment with good standard of housekeeping

Requirements: 

• Experience in a workshop environment
• Familiarity with all types of sanding tools and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Ability to work to a high standard of accuracy and detail
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Working as part of a team and on your own initiative
• Physically fit to lift assembled windows, doors and frames
• Flexibility and willingness to train in other areas if required
