SPRAY TECHNICIAN (W105)

Duties:

• Application of all primers, base coats and topcoats to windows, doors and frames
• Quality control of all items before passing to glazing department
• Organising and maintain the paint area and drying room
• Applying, mixing and storing paint safely, using appropriate PPE
• Flushing and cleaning of paint system
• Masking and unmasking items where necessary
• Assisting with preparation of items for spraying where necessary
• Working in accordance with priorities set out in workshop schedule
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment with good standard of housekeeping

Requirements: 

• Experience in a workshop environment
• Experience in water-based paints and spray systems would be advantageous, although full training would be provided
• Ability to work to a high standard of accuracy and detail
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Working as part of a team and on your own initiative
• Physically fit to lift assembled windows, doors and frames
• Flexibility and willingness to train in other areas if required
